A data strategy for the pensions regulatory ecosystem
A data strategy for The Pensions Regulator set out a future pensions data ecosystem and an internal roadmap aligned with Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT).
The problem
The regulator needed a direction for how data could support better saver outcomes, connect with the wider pensions ecosystem and coordinate internal development across DDaT.
What we did
Lead Consultant Chris Kwouk developed the data strategy and detailed internal roadmap, with executive and senior stakeholders across the organisation. The work connected data management, governance, architecture, culture and ways of working with information sharing across the pensions industry and government partners. It also provided input to the overarching DDaT strategy.
What the work produced
- A strategy for a future pensions data ecosystem and better information sharing
- A detailed internal roadmap covering data foundations, capabilities and ways of working
- Alignment of data priorities with the wider DDaT strategy
- An external version published by The Pensions Regulator
